Spokane man dies 8 days after car accident

A Spokane man has died following a Sept. 26 car accident in downtown Spokane. Albert R. Pino, 45, was walking on Second Avenue near Cowley Street when he was hit by a car. He died Oct. 4 after being in critical condition at a local hospital, the Spokane Police Department reported. The crash occurred about 2:20 p.m. Police have said they do not believe speed, alcohol or drugs were factors.
