Fire burns grain silo near Odessa

ODESSA, Wash. — Fire burned a grain silo Tuesday night near Odessa, about 60 miles west of Spokane.
The silo — about half-filled with grain — was fully involved in flames about 8:30 p.m. when Lincoln County firefighters arrived.
News reports said that more than 40 nearby homes were evacuated for about an hour before the fire was controlled.
