Eleanor Wallen passed away gently in her sleep on October 14, 2012.
She was born October 29, 1932 in Natal, British Columbia to Nino and Palma “Emma” Ungaro.
She married her pen pal, Raymond Wallen, on New Year’s Eve, 1954 and moved to Spokane shortly thereafter.
Eleanor worked at The Crescent, Newberry’s, The Coliseum, Riverview, Esmeralda Golf Course and she was involved in Spokane Blades hockey.
Eleanor is survived by her 100 year old mother, Emma Ungaro; daughter, Nealene Wallen; son, Robert Wallen (Brandi) and grandson, Raymond; and her brother, Alfred Ungaro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wallen; son, Mark Wallen; father, Nino Ungaro; brother, Orlando Ungaro and sister, Ida Heisler.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 19, at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
Entombment will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
