Obituary: Dodson, Deloris

DODSON,
Deloris

Anyone that knew Mom knew that she loved the Lord; her children: Kitty, Deana and Dennis; her family and friends.

Even after having a stroke that took her speech and the use of her right side she continued to make everyone she came in contact with feel like a friend and a special person.

Deloris treated everyone the same and noted personal things like haircuts, new tattoos, ear rings and designs on your clothing and shoes.

She was a good listener and valued your input and opinion.

She was always ready with a smile, a pat or a pinch on the bottom, a high five, a hug and, most often, a kiss on the hand.

Mom was proud of her family.

She did Bloomsday until the age of 72, learned to play golf in her late 60’s and was a good worker.

She was a wonderful parent, friend and Christian.

And God said, “Well done, good and faithful servant.
