Passed away on October 4, 2012 peacefully at his home.
He was born April 7, 1929 in Republic, WA to William and Rosie Long.
Leonard had a Master’s in Education and retired after 30 years of working for the State of Washington.
He was a good and kind man that was adored by his family and friends.
He leaves behind his (best friend) wife of 63 years Gwen Long and daughters, Teri (and Mike) Byrd, Linda Fisher, Debbie (and Bob) Ploof and Kristie Long.
In addition he also leaves a large loving family of nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and adoptive family and friends around the world.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Doug Long.
