LITTLE, Norma Gwen
Passed away October 14, 2012, at age 86 with her family by her side.
A longtime resident of Spokane, Washington, Norma spent the most recent two years living in Eugene, Oregon.
Norma was born on July 22, 1926 in Aurora, New York to Walter and Jesse Sly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, Robert Little, and her daughter Kelly Eschenbacher, and is survived by her children, Jon Little, Shannon Little, Mark Little, Aimee Gwinn and their families.
Norma graduated from Newport High School in Newport, Washington and later worked at E.C.
Petersen, a Newport Abstractor.
She met and married the love of her life, Bob, whom she was married to for 58 years, and together they raised five children.
They went on to be blessed with 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren (and counting!)
She was very active in her church and was often one that friends and family would call on for prayer and reminders of God’s goodness.
She loved fashion, laughing with loved ones, decorating, desserts and sweets, especially ice cream, and gatherings with church, friends and family.
More than anything, she loved her faith and her family.
She often spoke of her children and grandchildren as an embarrassment of riches and she reminded them all to encourage and care for each other.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27th, 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, W. 19 Shannon, in Spokane, Washington.
