No. 24 Louisiana Tech wins first game as ranked team

Quarterback Colby Cameron led a late-surging Louisiana Tech offense, throwing for 292 yards and running for a score as the No. 24 Bulldogs beat New Mexico State 28-14 on Saturday in Las Cruces, N.M.

The victory gave Louisiana Tech its first win as a ranked team and a chance to remain in the Top 25 for consecutive weeks for the first time in school history.

Ray Holley had 130 rushing yards, including an 83-yard TD run for Louisiana Tech.

Utah State 48, Texas-San Antonio 17: Chuckie Keeton threw for 340 yards and three TDs to lead the Aggies past the Roadrunners in San Antonio.

Utah State is off to its best start since 1978.

San Jose State 31, Texas State 20: De’Leon Eskridge had 25 carries for a career-high 134 yards, scoring his only touchdown of the afternoon on a 32-yard run with 5:23 remaining to put the Spartans up for good in a win over the Bobcats in San Jose, Calif.
