RATLIFF, Katherine Marjorie (Kahm)
Passed away October 25, 2012 in Spokane Valley, WA.
She was born October 15, 1924 in Friend, Nebraska to John Kahm and Katherine Weber Kahm.
She attended Friend Public Schools graduating in May 1942.
She attended Nursing School in Lincoln, Nebraska graduating as a Registered Nurse in 1946.
She also obtained a BS degree in Nursing Administration.
She married Dale Allen Ratliff on September 12, 1948 at the Methodist Church in Friend, Nebraska.
To this union four children were born: Dale Allen Ratliff II, Katherine L. Ratliff, John W. Ratliff and Patricia Ann Ratliff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, in 1990, a granddaughter, Shauna; her parents, two brother and five sisters.
She is survived by her children, Dale Ratliff II and his wife, Laura of Omaha, NB, Kathy Trafton and her husband, Roger from Bothell, WA, John Ratliff and his wife, Macy of Kenmore, WA and Patricia Ratliff and her friend, Henry Hanson of Blanchard, ID; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Susan Luedke of Lincoln, ND; also numerous nieces and nephews.
She worked for many years as a registered nurse.
She was a member of the Spokane Valley Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, Victory Chapter and White Shrine of Jerusalem.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.
