$30,000 donation benefits Kitty City

SpokAnimal CARE has received a $30,000 donation from Purina Cat Chow toward renovating its cat services and adoption area known as Kitty City.

Most of the renovation work will take place today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., when improvements will be made to the reception area, the cats’ space and the adoption counseling rooms. SpokAnimal adopts out about 3,500 cats each year and may be able to increase its cat adoptions by 20 percent.
