Police searching for Banner Bank robber

From staff reports

Spokane police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Banner Bank in a north Spokane Safeway on Friday afternoon.

A white male in his 40’s or 50’s with short brown hair entered the Safeway on 3913 N Market St. He ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. He was last seen wearing a dark short-sleeve shirt and dark baseball hat.

Police believe the suspect is on foot. Anyone with information about the suspect’s location is asked to call 911.
