Chrome, muscle cruise into fairgrounds

Goodguys show attracts classics

Calling all motor heads: Spokane marks the latest stop on a national tour showcasing the country’s finest custom and antique vehicles.

Hosted by California’s Goodguys Rod and Custom Association, the Great Northwest Nationals will fill the fairgrounds with all makes and models of hot rods, muscle cars and classic automobiles from the Inland Northwest and beyond.

In addition to the four-wheeled beauties on display, there will be an automotive swap meet, arts and crafts booths, live music and kids activities. Exhibits featuring demonstrations from several automotive manufacturing companies have also been scheduled.

An award ceremony on Sunday will honor the best of the participating vehicles. (Deadline for vehicle entry has passed.)
