Obituary: Jolley, Golda Alice (Frandsen)
Age 91
She was born on September 13, 1922 in Basalt, ID to Raymond and Alice Frandsen.
Her father passed away when she was a year old and her stepfather Grover Scarbrough raised her as his own.
Golda attended school in Basalt, ID until she married Dean F. Jolley on June 7, 1938.
She was the love of his life and together they had six children.
Golda owned a drapery business where she was an excellent seamstress and could remake patterns of clothes from catalogs for her children to wear.
She is survived by her sister Rayola Hirschi of Pocatello, ID; her children LaDean (Tony) Copeland, Dorene (Neil) Rice, Karen Dayley, Terry (Linda) Jolley; 28 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Golda was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Dean F. Jolley, her daughter Raya Jean (Ray) Gibson, son Dean (Melinda) Jolley, Jr., son-in-law Steve Dayley and two grandsons Rob Copeland and Chris Rice.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at Pines Cemetery, Spokane Valley, WA.
