Obituary: Kuest, Donald Jeffrey
Age 46
He was born Feb. 1, 1967 in Pocatello, ID to Harley Gene and Janet Lee Kuest.
Don was an avid outdoors- man who loved hunting and fishing and being in the outdoors in general.
He really enjoyed catching steelhead and sturgeon on the Clearwater and Snake rivers and bow hunting the drainages of North Idaho for elk.
He graduated from North Central High School in 1985 and shortly thereafter moved to Lewiston, ID to accept a management position for an up and coming business.
Being in Lewiston allowed him to further his career and live in an area where he could really take advantage of the wonderful hunting and fishing that area is known for.
While in Lewiston, Don found another passion, that was law enforcement.
He dedicated himself to the Asotin County Reserve Deputies program and completed it to become an Asotin County Reserve Deputy for four years.
He also joined the Asotin County Sheriff’s Posse and assisted with search and rescue and other community projects as called upon to do so.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM Friday December 6, 2013 at Heritage Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The House of Charity or Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
