Labish helps Cheney girls slip past Colville
Coreen Labish scored a game-high 14 points and Cheney edged Colville 35-33 in a District 7 2A elimination game Tuesday in Colville.
The Blackhawks (8-12) made 9 of 13 free throws while the Indians (10-11) were 6 of 15 from the line.
Sadie Learn led the Indians with 11 points.
East Valley 73, Clarkston 47: The Knights (14-7) erupted for 28 third-quarter points and eliminated the visiting Bantams (5-16). Erin Wallman had 14 points and nine rebounds and Mallory Munns added 12 points and eight boards for East Valley. Sequoia Swan made four 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 17 points for Clarkston.
District 9 1B
St. John-Endicott 60, Touchet 43: A 20-0 third-quarter run was the difference as the Eagles (17-6) beat the Indians (11-7) in Colfax. Emily Jones scored 21 points and Rachel Gfeller added 16 points for St. John-Endicott, which will play Garfield-Palouse Friday at Colfax in a winner-to-state, loser-out contest. Touchet is eliminated.
Garfield-Palouse 49, Rosalia 33: Taylor Redman scored 19 points and Alexis Rodriguez added 18 as the Vikings (7-15) beat the Spartans (12-11) in Colfax. Garfield-Palouse outscored Rosalia 17-8 in the final quarter to seal the deal. Mackenzie Reddish tallied a team-high 16 points for the Spartans, who are finished for the season.

Idaho 4A Region I
Lakeland 72, Sandpoint 43: The Hawks (11-10) opened the game on a 9-0 run and eased past the Bulldogs (2-19) in Rathdrum. Jack Millsap and Scott Simpson scored 14 points apiece and Tyrel Derrick added 10 points and six assists for Lakeland, which will play at Moscow (14-5) on Thursday. Sandpoint was eliminated.
District 9 1B
Rosalia 61, Colton 49: Craig Nelson and Micah Pittsley scored 14 points apiece to guide the Spartans (12-10) past the Bulldogs (14-9) in Colfax. Rosalia outscored Colton 15-10 in the third quarter and led by 11 points heading into the fourth. Jake Straughan scored 18 points and Dalton Patchen had 17 for the Wildcats, who were eliminated. Rosalia will play Garfield-Palouse on Friday in Colfax in another loser-out game.
Garfield-Palouse 54, Touchet 44: Jesse Lopez led a balanced scoring attack with 13 points and the Vikings (16-6) avoided elimination with a win in Colfax. Wyatt Mitchell had 10 points and Anthony Floyd and Tyler Thurman added nine apiece for Garfield-Palouse.

Priest River 53, St. Maries 52: Coleton Stelow made a pair of free throws with 1.5 seconds left to give the Spartans (9-9) a win over the visiting Lumberjacks (12-8). Stelow finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Austin Linnemeyer had 15 points for St. Maries.
Timberlake 64, Wallace 42: Johnny Hayden led three players in double figures with 17 points as the Tigers (16-2) routed the Miners (9-9) at Spirit Lake. Brock Arthun tallied a team-high 11 points for Wallace.
