Obituary: Hildebrand, Normalee
Age 95
She was born to Tyre Blaine and Lillie Mae Panther in Murphy, North Carolina on May 30, 1917.
She moved with the family when she was nine years old to the Spokane area where she graduated from North Central High School.
Normalee and her husband Lloyd went on to establish and co-own Hildebrand Oil Company in the Spokane Valley.
After the sale of the company Normalee went to work at Sacred Heart Medical Center as a Medical Records Librarian.
Normalee worked at Sacred Heart until her retirement in 1985.
Following her retirement she spent a number of years doing volunteer work at the Shriner’s Hospital.
She was a longtime member of Eastern Star, Ladies of the Oriental Shrine, and Amaranth.
Normalee was preceded in death by Lloyd, her husband of 55 years in 1991, her parents, brother Wallace (Wally) Panther, sister Nellie Unicume, sister Allene Hollenback, and sister Marilyn (Jo) Smith.
Normalee is survived by her sisters Gladys Stelzer (Bob), Vivian Hatherly; children Denise Krohn in Minnesota and son John Hildebrand (Julie) in Montana; grandchildren Scott Krohn, Cathryn Krohn Perinovic (Dan), Kimberly Hildebrand Seynei (Mike), and Nicole Hildebrand Burgess (Scott); great-grandchildren, Lauren and Nickolas Perinovic, Sarah Seynei, and Ryan and Samuel Burgess and numerous nieces and nephews.
An informal Memorial will be held in the near future.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Shriner’s Hospital.
