“True Blood” – Those weird and wild residents of Bon Temps are back for Season 6, including Bill (Stephen Moyer), who drank a Lillith blood cocktail and has now transformed into something that has Sookie (Anna Paquin), Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), and company absolutely terrified. Also back for more: Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and his magical abs. 9 p.m. Sunday, HBO.

SUNDAY: Stars from the worlds of soaps, game shows and chat fests come together to celebrate their best and brightest at the “40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.” A.J. Hammer, Robin Meade and Sam Champion are our hosts. 5 p.m., HLN.

SUNDAY: Break out the swimsuits and sashes. It’s time for the “2013 Miss USA Competition.” Giuliana Rancic and Nick Jonas host the event from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. 9 p.m., NBC.

SUNDAY: Kevin Whatley returns for the sixth season of “Inspector Lewis” in the “Masterpiece Mystery!” series. He and Hathaway (Laurence Fox) probe the murder of a psychic who led a double life. 8 p.m., KSPS; 9 p.m., KCDT.

MONDAY: “Love, Marilyn” is a documentary that attempts to delve into the psyche of Marilyn Monroe via her letters, notes and diaries. Contemporary actresses, including Glenn Close, Uma Thurman, Ellen Burstyn and Lindsay Lohan, provide commentary. 9 p.m., HBO.

TUESDAY: It’s time to face the music on “The Voice” as the singing competition forks over $100,000 and a record deal to its Season 4 champ. We’ll take a wild guess and predict that a country singer will nab the crown. 9 p.m., NBC.

WEDNESDAY: This should be fun: Heather Locklear joins the cast of the legal dramedy “Franklin & Bash.” She plays the firm’s new partner, charged with corralling rambunctious attorneys Peter and Jared (Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Breckin Meyer). 9 p.m., TNT.

WEDNESDAY: Time to drown our sorrows over many cans of Slurm. The sci-fi cartoon series, “Futurama,” is coming to an end – but not before a final run of 13 fresh episodes that begins tonight. 10 p.m., Comedy Central.

WEDNESDAY: For the Season 5 premiere of “Hot In Cleveland,” Betty White and the gals are going live. So who will be the first to blow a line or crack up uncontrollably? 10 p.m., TV Land.

THURSDAY: It’s like they say: If you can’t stand the heat, get out of “Hell’s Kitchen.” It’s only fitting, then, that tonight brings a pressure-cooker challenge. 8 p.m., Fox.

THURSDAY: “Wilfred” returns for Season 3 and that guy (Elijah Wood) with the imaginary dog friend is in therapy. Wise choice. 10 p.m., FX.

FRIDAY: On the latest episode of “Treehouse Masters,” Pete is hired by an Ohio family to build a beer brewery in the sky – accessible by a rope bridge. We’re so very jealous. 10 p.m., Animal Planet.

SATURDAY: The new TV film, “Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret” could be more bloody than dirty. Tania Raymonde stars as the aspiring photographer found guilty of the brutal 2008 murder of her boyfriend. 8 p.m., Lifetime.
