Police arrest convicted felon on gun charges
Spokane police arrested a convicted felon after he allegedly fired shots in a downtown bar late last night.
Blaine M. Peterson, 27, was arrested shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday when he fired a gun at Ugly Betty’s on 211 N. Division, according to a press release. Peterson allegedly got into a fight with someone at the bar and pulled out a gun. Witnesses reported he fired it into the air then fled. No one was hit.
Officers located Peterson in the alley behind 215 W. Main. Police found a gun and two shell casings nearby, according to the release.
Peterson was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment and felon in possession of a firearm.
