You simply aren’t going to get a cleverer response in loss than this one from Post Falls Councilwoman Kerri Thoreson:

I put on my game face and headed out this morning, first stop the Local Issues Committee meeting at the Chamber of Commerce. Retrieved signs during lunch time and then returning phone calls, texts and emails. Quite overwhelming the sheer volume of well wishes today. But if I might make an observation to those who have encouraged me to seek other elected offices … talking about future elections the day after one that ended badly is like asking a woman who’s just given birth if she plans to have more children.
