Obituary: Nurvic, Susan H.

NURVIC, Susan H. (Age 68) Susan Helen Nurvic was born October 2, 1945 in Chicago, IL and passed away November 17, 2013 in Spokane, WA, where she resided for the last 36 years.

She married the love of her life, Charles J. Nurvic on December 14, 1963 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Chicago, IL.

Susan was a Special Education school teacher in the Central Valley School District at Opportunity Elementary and retired from Horizon Middle School.

She had a love for gardening and always had some of the most beautiful rose gardens.

Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, dear friends and her grandchildren.

She truly will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents Ted and Ethel Beutelspacher, stepmother Evelyn Beutelspacher; and brothers Bob Beutelspacher and Art Christmann.

She is survived by her husband Charles Nurvic; sons Chris (Kim) Nurvic, and Craig Nurvic; daughters Beth (Ryan) Clements, and Michelle (Shawn) Bliesner; her siblings Jan (Len) Simon, Candy (Larry) Comer, Don (June) Beutelspacher; stepsister Kathy (Bob Exton) Tartlow; her ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mirabeau Chapel in Spokane Valley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice House of Spokane and Advent Lutheran Church of Spokane Valley.
