Incredible Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch Continues through Oct. 31. Enjoy more than 12 acres of three separate mazes with more than 4 miles of paths and a separate haunted maze. Haunted maze starts today. The Traveling Vietnam Wall Continues through Sunday. The American Veterans Traveling Tribute brings the traveling wall, which carries the names of 58,261 service members who died in the war, including 84 from Spokane. Each day starting at 1 p.m., the names of the fallen Spokane-area Vietnam veterans will be read, with a ringing of a replica of the Liberty Bell. Open 24 hours a day. There will be free shuttle bus transportation from Life Center Church, 1202 N. Government Way, today and Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and shuttle service from Palisades Christian Academy, 1115 N. 2013 Individual World Poetry Slam Continues today and Saturday. Spokane hosts artists from around the country and world for this performance poetry competition. The top 12 poets compete in finals at the Bing Crosby Theater, 901 W. Sprague Ave., 7-10 p.m. Saturday. In addition to the competition, this year’s event also includes 21 side events that are open to the public, including open mics, showcases, panel discussions, and workshops. Make-A-Wish 5K Walk/Run for Wishes Make-A-Wish Washington is hosting its fifth annual family-friendly walk to generate funds to help grant the wishes of local children with life-threatening medical conditions.
