Congress shouldn’t get paid
Pressure needs to be put on Congress to pass legislation that states that in the event of a government shutdown for any reason, including members not doing their job and passing a budget, that they are required to return to work without pay until it is solved. This includes the president.
Remove the exemption and force them to work without pay as penalty; no back pay after returning to work either.
