AAA: Average price of gas in Washington $3.53

BELLEVUE — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.53. That’s down a nickel in a week and 22 cents in a month. It’s 18 cents higher than the national average. The average price in Spokane was $3.62. Some other metro prices from AAA’s Monday survey: Bellingham $3.52, Bremerton $3.46, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $3.56, Tacoma $3.47, Olympia $3.46, Vancouver $3.46, Yakima $3.56 and Tri-Cities $3.46.
