J.B. Mauney is one of the top professional bull-riders in the world but goes largely unnoticed in the heart of NASCAR country. Winning a world championship might get him a little more attention in his hometown of Mooresville, N.C. Mauney goes into the 20th anniversary of the PBR World Finals that begin today ( 6 p.m., CBS Sports) in Las Vegas trailing two-time defending champion Silvano Alves by 538.5 points. Mauney climbed into the championship picture by winning five of the last nine PBR events, including three in a row.
