Mumm earns support

I recently saw the political campaign ad on TV attacking Candace Mumm. I should not have been so shocked. The stronger the candidate, the uglier an attack ad will be.

Her victory in the primaries is an indication of the support she has earned by the quality of her contributions to many groups and projects. I have known and worked with Mumm on community issues for more than 15 years.

She is kind, available, well-informed and listens to everyone, seeking good information upon which to make decisions in the best interest of the city and its citizens.
