Age 73

HUBBELL, Sylvia Kay 10.22.1939 ~ 08.25.2013 Sylvia as born in Portland Oregon.

She passed away with family by her side at her home in Spokane Washington.

The world has lost a precious daughter, mother, grand mother, great grandmother, and friend.

It was an honor for her son Bradley to take care of her the last 2 1/2 years of her life.

(A big thank you to Tracy and her staff at Hospice of Spokane for helping us make her final days at home comfortable.)

Sylvia worked most her life in the accounting field, working at the O.N.B.

and Seafirst Bank in downtown Spokane; also Spokane Truck Sales, Harley Davidson and finally, reluctantly retired in January of 2013 from Mountain Gear.

She was a sweet, sweet lady and had a love for Jesus, her family, her friends, and her babies; her pets.

She enjoyed stock car races, feeding the animals in her nieghborhood, and spending “Friday night dinner dates” with our 91 yr old gramma.

She is survived by her mother; Katherine Horejs; her daughters; Ricki (Richard) Montague, Tamara Putney (Mike), DeeDee (Bob) Langston, and her son Bradley Hubbell: her grandchildren; Damian (Anne) Putney, Miranda Putney (Larry), Nathan (Athena) Putney, Cameron Putney and Jeremy Vaughn; Leni Descamps and Clinton Montague; with seven great-grandchildren and two on the way, plus many friends and relatives.

Her father, Ernie Jones; her stepfather, Gerald Horejs, and her three siblings have precede her in death.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 15th, 2:00 pm, at The Berean Church; 10910 E. Boone Av., Spokane Valley, with a private gathering after the service.

In lieu of flowers, mom would have wanted donations sent to the Humane Society or Scraps.

Thank You.
