Football story heartening

So, with all the important stuff going on in the world – wars, rumors of wars, politics, the environment, employment, whatever – The Spokesman-Review decides to dedicate the front page of its Sunday edition to a high school football team.

Good choice, S-R, and really good article; a meaningful football story that was about a whole lot more than just football.

Congratulations to the Rogers High School coaches and players for stepping up. Best of luck during the season, but you’ve already taken a step past just what the scores might be.
