New website tailored to football junkies
NWPrepsNow will have a tuneup tonight and be out in force on Friday night.
Sports writer Greg Lee and photographer Colin Mulvany will be at Joe Albi Stadium to cover the Greater Spokane League football season opener between University and Mead. Across the border, Jim Meehan will staff the Graham-Kapowsin game at Post Falls. SWX cameras will be at both venues to bring you video highlights.
On Friday, NWPrepsNow will have reporters at nine games, still photographers at four games and videographers at 17 area games.
Lee will be at the big game with Ferris at Central Valley, a game that could go a long ways in shaping the GSL standings. SWX will carry the game live over the air and streaming on NWPrepsNow.com with Sam Adams and Bill Ames in the broadcast booth.
Peter Sowards will staff the first game in the Albi doubleheader, North Central at Mt. Spokane. Jim Allen will handle the late game – Shadle Park vs. Rogers. Photographer Jesse Tinsley will shoot the doubleheader. Thomas Clouse will staff the Lewis and Clark at Gonzaga Prep opener and, of course, our videographers will have highlights of all the GSL games.
Other games with both writers and cameramen from nwprepsnow.com include Lake City at Kennewick, Lewiston at Lakeland, Sandpoint at East Valley and Chewelah at Deer Park. We will also have a writer at the St. Maries at Medical Lake game.
In addition, videographers will be at Moses Lake, East Valley of Yakima, Colville, Kettle Falls, Newport, Pullman, Colton and the Kibbie Dome doubleheader.
