Juvenile stabbed downtown overnight
A juvenile male was stabbed around 12:30 a.m. Thursday near downtown and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Spokane police said.
Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at 415 W. Sprague Ave. around 12:45 a.m., police spokeswoman Monique Cotton said. A group of males were milling near the address, and witnesses reported an altercation before the stabbing. The suspect fled the scene on a bike but was later apprehended by police, Cotton said.
The victim and suspect’s identities are not being released because they are juveniles.
