Showcase dinner pairs dishes with local beer selections

Five courses. Five local breweries. Beer-themed door prizes. And one big Northwest Brewery Showcase Dinner.

The Connoisseur’s Club is sponsoring tonight’s dinner, prepared by executive chef Brad Emery and paired with beer selections from River City Brewing Co., Budge Brothers Brewery, Wallace Brewing Co., Selkirk Abbey Brewery and Iron Goat Brewing Co.

Courses include tempura shrimp, braised pork belly and watermelon salad with fresh arugula, and grilled steak bites with a coffee rub. Connoisseur’s Club growlers will be available for purchase.

Dinner costs $55 per person and runs from 6 to 10 p.m. today at The Lincoln Center, 1316 N. Lincoln St.
