Maggie’s offers nice lunch on a rainy Saturday

On a rainy Saturday afternoon, following a mid-morning movie ( “Don Jon” ), we took in a late lunch at Maggie’s South Hill Grill. And while our orders were diverse — a bacon-cheese omelet for me, Greek omelet for my brother, an Asian chicken salad for my wife — our reactions were similar: pleased.

As I write this, with the rain pounding my porch and Alabama barely leading Ole Miss on the television, I’m still feeling stuffed. Not unplesantly, though.

Gives me plenty of time to think about the movie. But … more on that another time.
