Obituary: Mendoza, Brenda Gayle (Sonderman)

MENDOZA, Brenda Gayle (Sonderman) (Age 42) Brenda was born in Fort Worth, TX and grew up in Spokane and Steilacoom, Washington.

She graduated from Steilacoom High School in 1989.

She married Raymond Mendoza in April 1995 and was the mother of Lorenne (8) and Alexander (6).

Brenda worked in the medical field, most recently as a billing specialist for over 11 years at Union Avenue Pediatrics in Tacoma WA.

Brenda is survived by her children, her parents Sandy and Nyal Derr (Steilacoom) and Ed and Lee Sonderman (Liberty Lake), her sisters Kimberly McKenney (Stefan; Tacoma) and family and Breanne Derr (Seattle), half-sister Michelle Crothers (Thomas; Tampa), and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brenda loved gardening, camping, playing games and a good book.

She loved being with her family, had a kind and generous heart and a wonderful laugh and sense of humor.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Heatherstone Retirement Park, 1185 Honeysuckle, Hayden, ID in the Club House on 8946 Heather Way.

The family requests your presence to celebrate and remember the life of Brenda.
