MARTINEZ, George P. Chief MSgt, USAF Ret.

(Age 59) Passed away April 5, 2014.

He was born in 1955 in Brooklyn, NY.

George was a proud military and family man.

He married Edna V. Martinez in 1974, had two children Natalya in 1981 and Dante in 1985.

Throughout his 30 years serving his country in the US Air Force he’s touched and influenced many people all over the world including North Carolina, Spain, Panama, North Dakota, Sicily, Italy and Washington State.

After his retirement from the Air Force in 2004, George followed his passion for music and started his own business providing services as a DJ and sound production.

George will be remembered as a genuinely caring human being with a great sense of humor.

He was a member of the Hispanic Business Professional Assoc.

(HBPA).

George is survived by his wife Edna of 39 years in Medical Lake; daughter Natalya Martinez Cho (husband Myongje) of Okinawa, Japan; son Dante X. Martinez (wife Lisa) of Seattle, WA; sister Arlene Martinez of Caguas, Puerto Rico; nieces Kylene Dominguez and Ileana Dominguez and nephew Hector Luis Dominguez.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jorge’ T. and Brunilda (Rivera) Martinez.

Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Heritage Chapel with full military honors.
