Report: Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette made two 911 calls in Miami incident

SEATTLE – Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette made two calls to 911 to report a woman would not leave his apartment on April 2, triggering what has been termed by Miami police as a “suspicious incident.”

The calls were revealed Monday in an incident report made public by Miami radio station WINZ.

A Miami fire rescue unit transported the woman to a hospital, and police then began an investigation into an incident at an apartment belonging to Lockette at the Viceroy Hotel. Also present were San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and receiver Quinton Patton.

Lockette is reported as having made each of the calls shortly after midnight. A Miami police report on the incident stated that the woman became “lightheaded” after having “made some drinks for all of them” and also reporting that she “gave them shots.”

The report states she was joined in a bedroom by Kaepernick, with whom the report says she had a previous sexual relationship. The report states that they kissed and that she “got completely naked” but that Kaepernick left and that they did not have sex.

Later, the report states, Lockette and Patton opened the door to the room and “peeked” inside. The report says the woman asked where Kaepernick was and told the others to close the door. The report states, “They closed the door and left. She cannot remember anything after that.”

The report states the woman then woke up in a hospital bed but doesn’t remember how she got there or who transported her.

A Miami police spokesman said Monday the case remains open but no charges have been filed.
