Dale was born December 8, 1923 in Emmett, Idaho and later moved to Spokane with his father and mother.
After growing up in Spokane he married his wife of 67 years, Kitten and joined the military.
Dale served honorably with the 390th Anti-Aircraft Battalion fighting his away across Europe.
His unit landed on Utah beach in Normandy, France on the 27th of July, 1944 and was there through the liberation of Europe.
After returning from the war he and Kitten settled down in Spokane and he took a job with Greyhound Bus Lines driving for over 35 years.
They had three children: Scott, Kim and Cinde; who went on to give them six grandchildren: Jeff, Kelle, Dana, Kelsey, Jessica, and Natalee; who went on to give them two great-grandchildren: Lola and Viviana.
Dale lived a remarkable and rewarding life.
He was dedicated to his family, all of whom are eternally grateful for the knowledge, time, and wisdom he bestowed upon us.
A few paragraphs cannot convey what a dynamic, intelligent, caring man Dale was but his legacy will live on in the memories of his family who greatly admired and loved him.
