Obituary: Raynor, Rosemary Francis

RAYNOR, Rosemary Rosemary Francis Raynor went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family April 3, 2014.

Rosemary was born July 10th, 1929 in St.

Cloud, Minnesota.

She was the daughter of Ambrose and Louise Schafer.

She was preceded in death by her brother William Schafer; survived by her sister Delores Luce (Fred), brother Daniel Schafer, (Donna); children: Stephen, Debbie, and Cathy; grand-children: Chad, Melissa, Christopher, Lisa, Eric, Robin, James, Micah, and Coley, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grand-children.

Rosemary loved the Lord and shared Him with other’s at every opportunity.

She held Bible studies,with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Her desire was everyone could feel the love and comfort of Jesus and be born again.

Rosemary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grand- mother, great-great-grandmother, aka Gigi, sister, Aunt, and friend.

While living in Sandpoint Idaho, she attended beauty school, was a great beautician, and later instructor.

She started “The Agape” (God’s love) Christian Book Store with one table and a few books and built it up to a beautiful tribute to Jesus.

She also ministered to the terminally ill. She moved to Spokane and managed The Coachman condos and helped her son Steve with his business Hilarious Doughties (cheerful givers) doing his books.

The last six years of Rosemary’s life she was able to see a lifelong dream of owning a home on the water, come true.

Rosemary’s daughter, Cathy joined her in those last six years to help care for her.

In Rosemary’s last three months Gentiva Hospice provided her with a loving, caring, supportive staff while in her daughter Debbie and Perry’s loving home with loving care from granddaughter Micah and great-granddaughter’s Liz and Emy.

She passed in Debbie and Perry’s loving home surrounded by family members and her Pastor Paul.

Our celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held on Friday, May 2nd, at 2:00pm, at VFW Post 1435, South 212 David Street, Spokane Valley, WA 99212.
