Zags hit road to begin WCC play

The Gonzaga Bulldogs men’s basketball team will hit the road for three games when West Coast Conference play begins, according to the schedule released on Monday.

The defending WCC champions open their conference slate at Brigham Young on Dec. 27, before traveling to San Diego (Dec. 29) and Portland (Jan. 3).

Gonzaga’s first conference home game will be Jan. 10 when it hosts San Francisco. The Zags also have a stretch of three straight WCC home games when they will entertain Saint Mary’s, Pacific and Portland in late January.

The WCC tournament is slated for March 5-10 at The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
