Liberty Lake Blotter: Owner finds stolen camera on Craigslist; seller isn’t suspect

The curious case of a stolen camera was reported to Liberty Lake police on Nov. 19. A man called to say he was purchasing a camera from a seller on Craigslist and believed it was the same camera that had been stolen from him the month before.

Officers arrived in the 1300 block of North Liberty Lake Road and determined that the camera was, in fact, the same one stolen from the man, said Police Chief Brian Asmus. However, the seller had purchased it from someone else on Craigslist and is not a suspect in the original theft, Asmus said.
