In brief: Missing Cheney girl returns to family home
A 15-year-old Cheney girl missing since Thanksgiving showed up at her family’s home Sunday morning.
Jacquelynne Rose Doucette “appears to be in good health but is receiving a thorough medical examination,” the FBI said in a news release.
Investigators at the FBI and the Cheney Police Department will continue to gather and review information about the girl’s disappearance and return, FBI spokeswoman Ayn Dietrich said in a news release.
Doucette’s family reported her missing around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27 after she had not immediately returned home from a search for a lost animal.
She was seen at Cheney Lanes about 11 a.m. Nov. 28 and was captured on security video.
Man tests negative for Ebola in Seattle
SEATTLE – King County health officials said initial test results on a man who recently returned from the West African nation of Mali have come back negative for Ebola.
Public Health-Seattle & King County said the man was tested at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after developing a slight fever Friday. The state Health Department said Sunday the tests were negative.
Officials had been monitoring the man, a King County resident, for possible Ebola symptoms.
Officials say the man will continue to be monitored through the 21-day period during which Ebola symptoms could develop.
