GSL boys basketball: CV puts hurt on G-Prep

The Central Valley boys basketball team jumped on visiting Gonzaga Prep early.

And the Bears never relented.

Central Valley made 22 of 41 shots from the floor, cruising to a 69-26 win in Greater Spokane League play Tuesday.

It’s the lowest points by a G-Prep team in GSL play. It’s the second-fewest points by the Bullpups (0-3, 0-2) since a 38-24 loss to Shadle Park in 1963.

Michael Hannan and Parker Bowden scored 11 points each and Landon Daines added 10 to pace the Bears (3-0, 2-0).

CV outrebounded G-Prep 36-12.
