Jim Harbaugh to Michigan student reporter: ‘Heck of a job’

Jim Harbaugh paused during his introductory news conference at Michigan on Tuesday to offer a few kind words to a reporter from the campus newspaper who showed up at the airport when the new coach arrived the previous night. Harbaugh asked the reporter – Alejandro Zuniga of the Michigan Daily – to stand up and be recognized after talking with the coach and shooting a widely used photo. “That’s a go-getter, heck of a job,” the coach said. Harbaugh is returning to the school where he played quarterback. Harbaugh arrived in Detroit’s airport on Monday night, and reporters from the Daily followed him to a hotel. – AP
