Obituary: Flett, William T. “Bill”

Age 70

FLETT, William T. “Bill” Was born February 27, 1944 in Chewelah, WA and entered into rest on December 28, 2014 at his home in Wellpinit, WA.

Bill, a Spokane Tribal member, is survived by his significant other Cindy St. Pierre, 11 children: Ilene Flett and Matthew (Hot Dog) Carden, Billy and Deb Flett, Mike and Mary (Bunny) Flett, Lance and Zetta Wynne, Marty and Brenda Andrews, Robert, Rainee, Rhonda and Rowena St. Pierre, Bobby (Rev) Flett and Darryl Flett; his three sisters Joyce Wynecoop, Jackie and Geri Flett; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Barbara (Bub) Flett, son Clinton (Kip) Flett, four brothers Robert (Bob) Flett, Charles, Gary, and Harvey Flett, sisters Joanne Wynne and Patricia (Squirt) Hill and his parents Robert (Baka) and Ilene Flett.

Bill loved spending time with his grandchildren, he was an avid horseman, enjoyed watching and discussing basketball, baseball (especially his Seattle Mariners), the Seahawks, and watching old western movies.

Bill coached basketball for 10 years and continued to share his knowledge of the game throughout his lifetime.

He was very much loved and will be greatly missed.

Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Wellpinit Longhouse.

Funeral Mass, Friday, January 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM Alex Sherwood Memorial Center with a burial to follow at the Wellpinit Catholic Cemetery, Wellpinit, WA.
