Age 93
Betty was born to Clarence and Ruth (Webb) Shining September 11, 1920.
Betty had two siblings: Willis (Strib) Shining, deceased; and Jerri June now living in California.
Betty dedicated her career as a LPN at Sacred Heart and Eastern Washington State Hospital, retiring in 1986.
Betty and Jack L. Rankin, married in 1939 and had five children: Dennis D. Rankin, who passed April 2010, Terry E. Rankin, Vancouver WA., Michael D. Rankin, Spokane WA., Kathy A. Yenney, Yuma, AZ., Patrick N. Rankin, Spokane.
Betty was married to Joseph P. Schwab from 1973, until his passing in May 2009.
An inurnment will be held at Holly Cross Mausoleum Chapel on North Wall at 1:30 pm, the 28th of February.
At 4:00 pm, all family and friends are invited to a gathering in Betty’s honor at the home of Patrick and Susan Rankin, 16003 E. Heroy, Spokane Valley, WA.
