Mt. Spokane’s Poquette wins three events

Mt. Spokane’s Amara Poquette won three events Wednesday during a Greater Spokane League four-team gymnastics meet at Rogers.

Poquette scored 9.050 on the balance beam, 9.3 in the floor exercise and 8.55 on the vault. No team or all-around scores were kept because the uneven bars malfunctioned.

Boys basketball

Northeast 2B

Lind-Ritzville 51, NW Christian 46: Dylan Hartz scored six of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter as the visiting Broncos (8-1, 4-1) rallied past the Crusaders (8-5, 3-4). Chris Hartis led NWC with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Nonleague

Odessa-Harrington 53, Northport 35: Shane Whitaker scored 17 points and Carson Weber added six steals as the Titans (6-5) cruised past the Mustangs (0-10) at Harrington. Sam Schafer added 13 points for O-H.

Girls basketball

Northeast 2B

NW Christian 63, Lind-Ritzville 50: Rachel Bozlee scored 19 points to lead four players in double figures as the host Crusaders (12-0, 7-0) topped the Broncos (6-4, 3-2). L-R’s Jenna Bennett scored a game-high 25 points.

Nonleague

Odessa-Harrington 68, Northport 10: Sydnee Kieffer and Hannah Schmidt combined for 35 points and 16 steals as the Titans (5-7) topped the Mustangs (0-10) at Harrington.
