Four corners: Idaho Vandals

COMING UP: Tonight vs. Utah Valley, 7 (SWX); Saturday vs. Cal State Bakersfield, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The Vandals won a double-overtime game at Texas-Pan American and got smoked at WAC-leading New Mexico State. Now they come home for five of the next seven games. Idaho has won once in its last six outings, and three of those setbacks came at Cowan Spectrum. UI is 0-4 at the Spectrum after starting the season with two wins in Memorial Gym (the team’s home venue until the end of football season). Utah Valley (8-7, 2-0) is one of three teams unbeaten in league play. The Wolverines are led by Holton Hunsaker (12.6 ppg), the son of head coach Dick Hunsaker.
