CdA police release video of Jitterz robbery suspect

Coeur d’Alene police have released a video and several photos of the man suspected of robbing a Jitterz coffee stand on Friday evening. A man who claimed he had a gun robbed the coffee shop at 2880 N. Government Way in Coeur d’Alene just before 6 p.m. The man ordered two female employees to the ground and claimed he had a gun but never displayed one. He is shown in the video trying repeatedly, but unsuccessfully, to shield his face from surveillance cameras. He was unable to open the cash register, but took money from the tip jar on the counter. He is described as a white man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-8 with a skinny build. The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is offering a reward for any information leading to his arrest.
