Friends of Manito have plant sale Saturday

The Friends of Manito will have its plant sale on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.

Hundreds of plants are potted waiting for new homes, including vines, shrubs, grasses and perennials.

The sale features children’s activities, and a beekeeping lecture at noon, followed by a planting for bees lecture at 1 p.m.

The sale is held just east of Gaiser Conservatory in Manito Park, 4 W. 21st Ave. All proceeds go to Friends of Manito. More information is available at www.thefriends ofmanito.org
