No injuries reported after early morning gunfire

From staff reports

Spokane police arrested a man early this morning after reports of gunfire near a downtown law firm.

Shawn Denman, 31, was booked into Spokane County Jail just after 5 a.m. facing charges of theft and illegal possession of a firearm. Three men were initially identified as suspects in the gunfire, which was reported around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of a downtown restaurant.

A witness said the three men left for a nearby hotel. Police found them there and took Denman, a convicted felon, into custody. Police said shots were fired at a nearby law firm.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
