In brief: Socks for Seniors seeks donations

A national community service project that collects socks for seniors is looking for Spokane coordinators to help gather new, warm socks for people in nursing homes, shut-ins and the homeless.
Socks for Seniors, based in Ohio with outreach in more than 500 cities, started its sock drive campaign Oct. 25.

Central Lutheran Church sets bazaar
The Central Lutheran Church Bazaar is Nov. 15. The Scandinavian Kaffee Stua is 9 to 11 a.m. Cookies and crafts are on sale 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The bazaar is at Central Lutheran Church, 512 S. Bernard St.
