Overview: Senior Day is here for 19 Vandals, but it’s once again time for Idaho to graduate from baby-step progress and figure out how to get it done in winning time. Another big play or two and another killing turnover did in the Vandals again last week at San Diego State, and coach Paul Petrino is beating the drum for his players to “be at your best when your best is needed.” He’ll hope to get the best out of his new two-headed quarterback system – assuming last week’s starter, Chad Chalich, is sufficiently recovered from a hip injury. Freshman Brandon Silvers is the triggerman in coach Larry Blakeney’s 24th and final season, and production is the Trojans’ key: They’ve averaged 505 yards of offense in their two victories, and 303 in their losses. Chandler Worthy is Troy’s attention-worthy playmaker.
