Three robberies reported in Spokane Valley

The Spokane Valley Police Department was stretched thin as they responded to three robberies early this evening. The first robbery was reported at the Walgreen’s at Sprague Avenue and Sullivan Road around 4:40 p.m., said Deputy Mark Gregory. The suspect was described as a white man age 30-40 wearing a black coat and black gloves with his face covered. The second call came in around 6:30 p.m. at the Lucky Nails salon at 4808 E. Sprague. The robber was described as a white male age 25-35, around 5 feet 7 inches tall wearing a black coat and hat. The third robbery was reported at the pharmacy in the Albertsons at Highway 27 and 32nd Avenue at 6:50 p.m. A man reportedly showed a knife and demanded pills. He was described as a white male in his 30s, about six feet tall wearing a dark coat, beanie and a scarf wrapped around his face. He was last seen running south on Highway 27. No one was injured in any of the robberies, Gregory said. An investigation is underway to determine if any of them are connected.
